SniCap provides screenshot capture, browser-tab recording, media upload, annotation, export, and account features. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle that data when you use the SniCap website, dashboard, extension-connected flows, and subscription features.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect account details such as your email address, authentication identifiers, subscription status, and basic profile information when you create or access an account. We also collect limited technical data needed to operate the service, such as browser type, approximate device information, and service logs.
When you upload media or send captured output from the extension into the web app, we process the file or metadata required to provide editing, export, account access, and support functionality.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal data to authenticate users, operate the editor and dashboard, manage subscriptions, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not use uploaded media for advertising or resale.
3. Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers needed to operate the product, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, email, and billing partners. We limit that sharing to what is reasonably necessary to provide the service.
4. Retention
We retain account and subscription records while your account is active and for any period required to meet legal or accounting obligations. Media retention depends on the workflow and product settings in effect at the time you use the service.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account data and service operations, including encrypted transport, controlled access, and operational monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
